17th C. Baroque Upholstered Ottoman
The Dutch set a bold, influential direction in design during the 17th century, inspiring an English footstool we've reproduced to exemplify the enduring spirit of the Baroque. A rectangular cushion, edged with a single-welt cording, rests atop four spindle-turned legs with exaggerated proportions at the knees and an X-shaped stretcher with a central finial.
