1920s English Mail Sorter Chain Console
In 1920s London, driverless trolleys whizzed through underground rail tunnels ferrying mail between stations, where it was sorted on metal tables like this one. We found the vintage original in southern England and reproduced its foursquare simplicity and unusual chain-bound stretcher design in a variety of heights to suit non-industrial settings.
