18th C. English Armorial Engraving - 09
Published in the late 1700s, the Baronagium Genealogicum traced the lineage of the English nobility, illustrated by highly detailed engravings of family crests. Subtitled The Pedigree of English Peers, it was created by Joseph Edmondson, a genealogist and painter whose specialty was emblazoning coaches with heraldic coats of arms. Our framed prints meticulously reproduce plates from Edmondson's work, prized today as much for their beauty as for their window on history.
