Dutch Fokker G.I. Plane Model
In the 1920s and '30s, there wasn't an aircraft manufacturer bigger than Fokker. Fokker planes flew the first nonstop flight across North America as well as the first trans-Pacific flight, carrying such notables as Admiral Byrd (as a navigator and expedition leader) and Amelia Earhart (as the first female passenger to fly across the Atlantic). Paying tribute to this aviation icon, our model captures a Fokker twin-prop, poised mid-takeoff.
