Our table's smoothly honed thick concrete top with a softly weathered finish complements the natural beauty of solid salvaged pine timbers from 100-year old buildings in Great Britain.
- Tabletop is handcrafted from 1½"-thick concrete composite in weathered grey
- The base's rough-hewn salvaged wood planks, which will vary somewhat in color and grain, are carefully hand-selected, planed and lightly hand sanded, yet may show marks of previous use
- This item is artisan-crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations and imperfections in the wood are to be expected and celebrated. Each salvaged item is an original and no two pieces are exactly alike.
- Concrete may exhibit spotting and hairline cracks; scratches may appear due to usage
- Inherent variations in the color and shading of the concrete, as well as the casting process, lend unique character to each table; no two will be exactly alike
- Unfinished, unsealed salvaged wood base bears a timeworn patina and includes distinctive nicks, splits, cracks, knots and imperfections that speak of the wood's age and provenance. Salvaged wood will continue to change over time as it interacts with its home environment, and will age beautifully.
- By their nature, unsealed salvaged wood planks may be somewhat uneven and may cup or bow over time due to changes in temperature or humidity. We believe this only enhances the table's rustic, unique character.
- Indoor use only; wood not treated for outdoor use
- For salvaged natural finish, clear furniture wax can be applied to protect the finish from minor spills. Briwax, a high-quality finishing wax, is our furniture sealant of choice; apply as directed. Please note that slight variations in color and an incomplete seal may occur with any sealant; test on an inconspicuous area first.
