Use a dry, clean cloth to dust your furniture weekly and help maintain its luster. To clean furniture, spray off any dirt or debris with a hose and wipe dry. For tougher stains, use our Outdoor Furniture Cleaner and wipe dry with a soft cloth. Avoid letting water stand on the surface of your furniture and cushions; protect them with our custom-fit covers.
Teak care: to maintain your furniture's original condition, thoroughly clean it twice a year. To clean teak, apply a solution of mild cleanser and water (or our Outdoor Furniture Cleaner & Stain Remover) with a soft brush. Gently scrub the teak free of any dirt and discoloration, and rinse well. Dry with a soft, clean cloth, making sure all surface water is removed to avoid damage and mildew. Our non-toxic Outdoor Teak Protectant helps protect wood against UV rays and stains.
Because of its protective finish, the furniture will acquire an even softer patina over time, without developing the silvery-grey hue that is typical of untreated teak. To prolong its soft, distressed finish, protect your furniture with our custom-fit covers when not in use. If left uncovered, the grey finish will fade away after 2-3 years.
