After I send in my resume how long will it take before I am contacted about scheduling an interview?

You will receive an auto-reply if you send your resume by email and a postcard if you send your resume by fax or US Mail. If there is an open position that is a good fit with your qualifications we will contact you for an interview. In addition your resume is also entered into our database for our recruiters to access for future opportunities. Due to the volume of resumes we receive we are unable to accept phone calls.

How often are the job postings on your Web site updated?

We update our postings weekly and we make every effort to remove a posting as soon as the position has been filled.

What is the interview process like?

Once we determine a fit with an open position you will be contacted to meet first with a recruiter from our Human Resources department. After the initial meeting, we will let you know if there is a potential fit and set up interviews with other hiring managers related to the position. This might require several visits to our offices and we do everything we can to make this a smooth process for you. Of course, references will be checked prior to an offer of employment being extended.

How should I dress for my interview?

We are a business casual work environment.

Does Restoration Hardware relocate candidates?

Do you have any part-time jobs?

Yes, we have a number of part-time jobs in our Stores, Distribution Centers and Call Centers. Check with your local store to learn more or visit our Job Openings page.

How do I find out if there are any positions available in a specific store?

All of our stores are responsible for handling their hiring needs individually. Putting the responsibility at the local level helps ensure we are hiring from the community. It also encourages a more personal interaction with store management. How old do I have to be to work in one of your stores or offices?

The minimum age required for our stores and offices is 18.
