Restoration Hardware Contract Sales - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- Who qualifies to be a member of the Contract division at Restoration Hardware?
Your potential membership as a Contract customer will be determined by your business. The Contract division is designed specifically for hospitality, commercial, retail, or multi-residential projects. Purchases made through the Contract website can be made for these projects only by clients that have an approved membership.
- What if I work on both single & multi residence projects?
Your membership as a Contract customer will be determined by the majority of your projects. To provide you with the best possible service, however, your individual orders may be handled by either team, based on the project scope.
- Can I expedite my order?
In-stock non-furniture items may be expedited at an additional cost. Please refer to our Freight Quote for further information.
- Will I get a membership card?
Because you'll be working directly with our Contract team, there is no need for a membership card. You can still visit our retail stores for ideas and to experience the merchandise, but we encourage you to place all Contract orders with your regional Business Development Leader.
- Do I call the toll-free number for a customer service representative?

- Are these the same products as those in the retail stores?
The Contract division specifically sells product that meets codes and other requirements particular to the Contract environment. In addition, all of our bath, outdoor, lighting and hardware products utilize the same commercial-quality materials and assembly to ensure durability and longevity. Some of them are available in our retail locations, but keep in mind that we have developed many unique products designed specifically for the needs of our Contract customers, which are available only through your Contract sales team.
- Why should I use Restoration Hardware products for my large-scale project?
Our handcrafted products complement and add value to your projects, saving you time and money. Compare our fixtures and furniture to those offered by our competitors and you'll see the difference. We are a solution for value engineering, and should be your first choice for long-lasting, stylish products.
- Do you offer customizations on your products?
Minor modifications may be available on some of the existing products we have designed as long as your order meets a minimum quantity. Cushions and umbrellas can be made from your own specified materials, and umbrellas can feature your company's logo. Call your area's Business Development Manager to see if a particular accessory or piece of furniture can be modified for your needs.
