1950s Dutch Shipyard Shelving
$2895 - $4595 Special $2460 - $3675
Industrial 1950s shelving that once organized tools and parts in a Dutch shipyard inspired our authentic reproduction. Discovered in an auto body shop in Rotterdam, we replicated the original's exposed rivets, X-back bracing and moveable ladder, which, in years past, allowed the shipwright to access the lofty upper shelves. Crafted from solid walnut and iron, its antique finish replicates an aged, worn patina.
- Made from iron and solid walnut
- Offers ample storage room on 5 wide fixed, removable shelves, 2 smaller shelves and 4 drawers with cut-out pulls
- Iron ladder hooks onto a rail near the top; it can be repositioned easily, but does not slide
- Iron has an antiqued finish; walnut is unfinished
- Note: ladder is not safe for children
- For normal daily care, dust with a feather duster or wipe with a clean, dry cloth
- This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood or metal work are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike. Quantities are limited.
- This item is crafted with unsealed metal that may rust over time, enhancing its rustic one-of-a-kind character. Note that the rust may rub off if it comes in contact with other furniture or fabrics.
