Palladian Salvaged Pine Library Bookcase Single
$4395 Special $3735
Slender pilasters crowned with Corinthian capitals give our bookcase the gravitas of a manor house built-in. Crafted from solid 100-year-old salvaged wood from buildings in Great Britain, it takes 6 craftsmen 10 days to build each one and hand-carve the fine details.
- Built from 100-year-old solid reclaimed pine from buildings in Great Britain
- Hand-carved detailing
- Timbers are hand planed and lightly sanded but otherwise left unfinished, showing the nicks and imperfections earned in their former life
- Upper section has 3 fixed shelves behind a glass door
- Lower section has 1 fixed shelf behind double wood-panel doors
- Distressed cast iron pulls
- Available as a single, double or triple unit
- Should be fitted with provided anti-tip hardware
- For normal daily care, dust with a feather duster or wipe with a clean, dry cloth
- By their nature, unsealed salvaged wood planks may be somewhat uneven, and may cup or bow slightly over time, further enhancing their rustic one-of-a-kind character; cracks may be present
- This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood or metal work are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique and no two are exactly alike.
