An 18th-century counterpoint to the extravagance of Rococo, the Directoire period celebrated the balance and refinement of Classical Greek architecture and neoclassical forms. Our bedroom collection, a faithful reproduction of an antique, displays the slender, elegant proportions that define the period, with carved wood panel detailing, hand-turned posts and ball finial accents.
