17Th C. Gregorian Chant Music Manuscripts 4
Originating back in the 9th and 10th centuries, Gregorian chant – an unaccompanied sacred song – is still considered a meditative mainstay in today's Roman Catholic Church. These 17th-century music manuscripts were originally inscribed by hand using neumes, an early form of musical notation, in terracotta tones of red and black. Our faithful replicas have been painstakingly reproduced on patinated paper, aged for the time-yellowed hue of antique parchment.
