19th C. Quatrefoil Iron Bed without Footboard
$650 - $950 Special $555 - $810
Iron furniture became popular during the 19th century, as metalworking advanced and artisans deployed revival-style curves in their projects. Our bed was inspired by an iron fence along the banks of the Danube in Prague, complete with Gothic quatrefoils framed in the openwork headboard and footboard. Stout supports are embellished with finials.
- Crafted of iron and steel
- Distressed, oxidized finish lends it the patina of age
- Includes a metal support system; requires a standard mattress and box spring
- This item is crafted with unsealed metal that may rust over time, enhancing its rustic one-of-a-kind character. Note that the rust may rub off if it comes in contact with other furniture or fabrics.
